Circle of Support

Want to know how you can support food justice and access in the East Bay? Are you interested in helping sustain a beautiful outdoor community space and working farm? Do you want to help people grow their own food and increase equitable access to affordable produce? Join City Slicker Farms' Circle of Support to help expand equitable access to healthy foods and thriving gardens for all! Your support increases wellness and builds community by providing the resources for us to build more gardens and grow more food for low and fixed income community members in the East Bay.

When you join the City Slicker Farms’ Circle of Support, you commit to a monthly donation for at least one year. When you become a Supporter, you are joining a community of neighbors, activists, nature lovers, gardeners and people committed to justice and equity. Each CSF Supporter is a vital link in this work that connects people to land and food. 

Our Supporters helps us cover program costs, including lumber, soil, and seeds, to build more gardens, as well as the staffing to provide ongoing mentorship to gardeners. In addition, they help us manage the West Oakland Farm Park, including growing food on the Farm and providing space for community members to gather and connect in nature.

Circle of Support Levels

$5 a month

*$5 a month provides one seasonal plant for a community gardener*

$25 a month

*$25 covers the carpentry supplies (screws and nails) needed to build two new garden beds*
– City Slicker Farms bandana and sticker
– Welcome and thank you card signed by the CSF team

$50 a month

*$50 buys 8 pairs of kids gardening gloves*
– “Tatille’s Tea” a small jar of medicinal tea made with herbs from the Farm Park
– City Slicker Farms bandana and sticker
– Welcome and thank you card signed by the CSF team
– Seasonal email or postal mail updates about CSF
– Your name listed as a Circle of Support member on our website and annual report

$100 a month

*$100 feeds our brood of 11 chickens for one month*
– A summer bounty basket with produce, eggs and honey from the West Oakland Farm Park
– “Tatille’s Tea” a small jar of medicinal tea made with herbs from the Farm Park
– City Slicker Farms bandana and sticker
– Welcome and thank you card signed by the CSF team
– Seasonal email or postal mail updates about CSF

$250 a month

*$250 supplies 2 months of potting soil for the greenhouse*
– Dinner for 4 at the Farm Park catered by a local chef
– A summer bounty basket with produce, eggs and honey from the West Oakland Farm Park
