Doing more with AmeriCorps

Last month, we received a grant from the Corporation for National and Community Service for up to three AmeriCorps members to support capacity building projects. (Thank you AmeriCorps!)

AmeriCorps, a federal agency, brings people together to tackle the country’s most pressing challenges, through national service and volunteering. AmeriCorps members and AmeriCorps Seniors volunteers serve with organizations dedicated to the improvement of communities. We are currently recruiting VISTA members to expand our volunteer program, strengthen communications, and increase efficiency at the Farm Park.

VISTA members serve for at least one year, receive a bi-monthly stipend, healthcare, and an end-of-service stipend or education award.
