Join People’s Grocery and City Slicker Farms on October 5th and help us honor West Oakland families and those who have come before us!

 We are hosting a home-grown celebration of healthy food and honored traditions.  

Eat
Break bread with us! We’ll be serving a free fall harvest meal, so be sure to arrive early on. And don’t forget to bring your very best pie* for the Bake-Off! Will your pie reign supreme?

Grow
From seed saving to kid-friendly cooking lessons, there’s a workshop for you! We’ll be hosting 12 workshops covering health and gardening topics. Please check out the schedule below.

Get your Halloween decorations ready with some good ol’ fashioned pumpkin carving. Kids, prepare to get a little messy!

*Pie categories: sweet potato, pumpkin or bean.
