Farm Park Workdays
When?
We are holding limited volunteer hours and smaller group sizes so that we are able to maintain the Farm while also keeping our community safe and healthy during the pandemic. Current open volunteer days are on the second and fourth Saturday from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm only. Volunteers MUST SIGN UP BELOW.
All volunteers must follow all the requirements of the Shelter in Place mandate, including: wearing a face covering and remaining at least 6 ft apart at all times. Since we are unable to provide one-one-one training, we ask that all volunteers have at least some experience with farming or gardening and are able to work independently once provided a task.
What will I do?
If you love weeding you’ve come to the right place. We also do a wide variety of other things such as seeding, planting, caring for chickens, light carpentry, and more weeding.
It is hard to predict exactly what will be available to do each day, and with Covid-19 we are limiting volunteer projects to the absolute essentials, but there’s always something to do on the farm!
How do I sign up and what do I need?
To sign up, choose a time slot from the calendar below, or choose a few! We really like volunteers that stay for at least 2 hours, and usually get to do more interesting things. All new volunteers will need to fill out this volunteer volunteer waiver and photo release form before coming on site.
All you need to bring is a face covering, gloves, some close toed shoes, clothing that can get a little dirt on it, and some treats for our rabbit/staff. (just kidding)
