Our new office space will be housed in the Lignum Vitae building. A long time supporter of City Slicker Farms, Lignum Vitae has provided carpentry services for our Backyard Gardening Program for many years. We will be packing up the week of the June 29th. If you're in the area and able to lend a hand and haul some boxes, let us know! We will officially be in the new space as of July 6th. Stay tuned - We will be inviting everyone to visit our new office at an open house - time and date TBA. All of us extend a HUGE thank you to OBUGS for their generosity in providing affordable office space for the past two years.

Welcome our new apprentices

When you do come by to volunteer, pick up some veggies, or just to check out what's growing, say hello to our new farm apprentices! Patrick and Adelle will be working in our Community Market Farms, and Patrick will be at the Ralph Bunche Greenhouse each Wednesday and Saturday. Julie is our new Backyard Garden apprentice, so you'll see her Saturday mornings at garden builds, and talk to her if you live in West Oakland and are interested in getting your own Backyard Garden. We're really excited to welcome Patrick, Adelle and Julie to City Slicker Farms.
